roadmap

Initial MVP (minimum viable product) launched with overwhelmingly positive feedback. Functionality to make and receive SMS messages online acheived.

Web based phone added allowing direct calling between contacts and to other numbers in the UK and USA (plus internationally with an additional bundle purchase). The web phone can in some instances circumvent state imposed firewalls (such as Middle East and China) due to the fact it uses regular internet protocols and not VoIP.

Improve contact managment, including Gmail contact syncronisation and contact list cleaning. This will provide a quick and easy means to import your contacts currently stored in your Gmail account for direct access via 2ndNumber.

Add chat-bot functionality to the messaging platform. Allowing you to create a simple chat bot and respond to inbound messages via an embeddable HTML Telegram chat-bot widget. This provides immediate feedback to the person sending the message and offers interactive but automated interaction tools for customers with webpages/carts that benefit from automated messaging.

Android App launch on Google Play allowing users to log into their account to make/receive calls via the app.

Another neat feature: A welcome menu/IVR system to allow your callers to listen to a pre-recorded message and menu system, allowing you to direct them to the correct place. Will include custom voiced audio for added authenticity (this will be charged as an optional extra). No robots here!

Launch app on iOS allowing users to log in with their credentials to make calls from a native iOS app over data/4G connections Now live on the App Store at https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/2ndnumber/id1634211448.

We will add a chat history for users of our Telegram and WhatsApp chatbots, including an option to send an alert via email each time a user interacts with your chatbot.

We are planning to add an anonymous email address function - so you don't have to use your private email address when singing up to apps and services. Email will be offered via a webmail dashboard.

Have better integration of SMS into the 2ndNumber app and addition of more features and bug fixes.

Improving stability and features in the 2ndNumber app on Android and iOS.

We are adding an indepth call logging and statistics feature so you can see activity on your line in much greater depth, plus download stats to a file for your own needs.

We are going to add an option allowing you to have your voicemail delivered to your email inbox automatically as an attachment.
